I expected that or worse.
We had a fun night, with food, friends and drink. I tried to stick to what I know works for me. My party selections were my own mock potato salad, cheese (no crackers) my own sugar-free, gluten-free banana bread, cantaloupe. Before anyone got here I had a beef stick and some cheese. Somewhere into the third class of wine I decided the crumbs in the bottom of the corn chip bowl looked good. I'd estimate I ate the equivalent of maybe 3-4 full sized chips. What I did do a little different is that 3 different times, I took the PGx, 2 each time. That is two more than I'd been taking the last couple of days. The suggested does tops out at 4 before EACH MEAL. And what I can say is that while I did take a taste of this or that (like with the chips) I was so full, I didn't want to continue eating anything in any great amount. So it is working in that regard. In fact, that cheese I had earlier with the beef stick...I poured some curds out onto a paper towel to let them come to room temperature before eating. By the time I got to them, the PGx must have expanded, because I ate a few curds and then just didn't want the rest. I gave them to my husband. That does make me wonder if any of that gain is all that fiber still making it's way through. I drank at least 100 oz. of water over the course of the night that would have been absorbed by the fiber. And I weighed at 9 am. Sometimes that makes a difference. So does not sleeping well, most of the time. I flipped and flopped a lot last night, though I didn't get up. Time will tell. I'm thinking the PGx is a good thing. Today DH has said will be a 'nice day.' I'm not sure how nice, but it may include some outdoor activity. Even if this gain is 'real' I should be able to get it off before the week is out. 21 days before my birthday, which I also already know will need recovery time as far as weight goes.

AuthorI struggled with my weight for over 20 years. I tried everything to lose weight. Yes, I did 'eat less, move more' repeatedly, convinced that doing the same thing over and over would someone yield different results. Desperate, having diligently done all the 'right' things and being told by several doctors that there was nothing wrong with me except that I wasn't trying hard enough, in 2009 I tried what seemed crazy: Dr. Simeons Hcg protocol. I lost 85 lb. Archives
